The Bongiovanni and Morra family from Rome and Naples serve some great New York recipes at this tiny pizzeria located in Woodland Hills. Everything is made fresh daily and pizza dough tastes like
you are eating it on a street corner in Brooklyn. Pizzas are hand-tossed Napolitana-style. Tonino's caters and delivers as well. Start with a homemade bread loaf ($1.75) served with a balsamic reduction dipping sauce. For salads, we like the Triatta ($8.95)
with chopped greens, chicken, tomato, red peppers, cucumber, and Gorgonzola dressing. The House Salad ($7.95) is great too. Romaine and baby greens, cannelloni beans, tomato, avocado, and cucumber are topped with Gorgonzola dressing. Pizza is thin crust
and made with only the freshest ingredients and lean meats. One of our favorites, Pizza alla Checca ($17.95), is chopped tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil, and mozzarella. We also love the Pizza ai tre Fromaggi ($17.95). Prosciutto, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan,
and basil melt together magnificently on this pie. Create your own pizza with seven types of cheese including burrata and goat cheese. Meat toppings range from anchovies to turkey meatballs, to smoked salmon and grilled chicken with everything else in between!
Pasta dishes are delicious too. Fettuccini Alfredo ($12.95), boasts garlic, parsley, olive oil, and white wine in a very light cream sauce. Spaghetti Kelly ($13.50), is loaded with olive oil, garlic, chili peppers, parsley and chicken strips. Grilled Eggplant
Parmigiana ($12.95) is baked with tomato sauce, basil, parmesan and mozzarella and served with a side of penne marinara. If it's a panini you're dreaming of, try the Panini Pollo ($8.95). Chicken, lettuce, tomato, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and mustard are
served on Tonino's homemade Bread Loaf and come with a side salad. For authentic Italian fare in Woodland Hills, try Tonino's! Best for take-out. Limited seating. Tonino's place Pizzeria 23351 Mulholland Drive, Woodland Hills. (818) 591-0600
