Don't visit santa Barbara without a stop into Brophy Brothers. Established in 1986 and still operated by original owners, the Bennett family, Brophy Brothers is located right in the beautiful Santa
Barbara Harbor. View the gorgeous sailboats while you enjoy dining on the outdoor patio or inside dining room. Locals love this place and you will too! Atmosphere is friendly, loud, and lively. Be prepared to wait because BB does not take reservations.
I promise the wait time is worth it! While you are biding your time, order a bloody Mary from the bar. It's the best one I've ever had. The celery salt on the rim and fresh horseradish grated into the drink give it a nice kick. For appetizers try the
Fried Clam strips ($8.25) for a crunchy golden brown juicy treat. Calamari ($8.25) is another fried delicacy. It's dipped in buttermilk batter and Cajun spices for that extra punch. New England Clam Chowder ($4.50/$6.95)) is hard to pass up.
Served in a mug or bowl, it's creamy, hot, and flavorful with plenty of clams and oyster crackers on the side. Crabcakes ($22.95) are a wonderful entree, Chilean snow crab is breaded and pan seared served with red pepper aioli. Accompanied by coleslaw
and a green salad or clam chowder, you will love this dish! We also enjoy the Seafood Pasta ($17.95). Gulf shrimp and sea scallops, are sauteed with lemon, garlic, and white wine, tomato, and fresh basil. Seafood is served over linguini and topped with
Parmesan. Crusty sourdough bread completes the meal. Take a nice walk in the harbor after lunch or dinner and enjoy the fresh air. Brophy Brothers 119 Harbor Way, Santa Barbara. (805) 966-4418
